Overall this is a great cooktop for the money. Its packaged well, operates great and installs fairly easy but I stress, have a master plumber make your gas connections! If you arent a plumber but think you are a plumber, you are not a plumber. Not even close. Call a plumber.A few things to note here. It states on the comparison chart “Gas Pilot” and on the Power Source “Gas Powered”. This unit uses Electronic Ignition source which requires an outlet within <36" of the cooktop. This unit has a 110v power cord!Also, when it arrives, the burners are set for Natural Gas (NG) but the gas regulator is set for Liquid Propane (LP). It seems odd they would ship it in opposing configurations but if you are running natural gas, you would need to also make the adjustment on the regulator from (LP) to (NG). (see instructions) This would likely account for some of the other reviewers that mentioned a low flame.Overall, I still give it five stars for the nice budget cooktop but they really need to update the description. Its good for the money but I really dont expect the ignitors to last but a few years. And be careful! Call a plumber.

I needed a low cost replacement, this is good.
Works well, dropped into old cooktop opening. Some of the burners are too small! Turned on full, produce little heat. Center âwokâ burner is most useful for all types of cooking with medium to large skillets.

My only complaint is the burner knobs do not have a wide operational radius. It took me a while to get the feel of how they work. Otherwise, it’s beautiful and very easy to install.

I finally convinced my husband to update our old drop in cooktop and this does not disappoint. It is made very well with plenty of space for all my cooking needs. It comes with the orifices for natural gas or propane so you can install quickly and get cooking. You do need electric for the starter but fortunately or old cook top need electric too so our installation was easy. the cast grate are heavy duty and the stainless steel looks very sleek. At this price point you cant go wrong.

nice looking cooktop
This is a good looking cooktop. It is a drop in unit, with some sealed burners of different sizes. This makes it relatively easy to clean. There is a large powerful burner that you can use with a wok. The knobs are well marked and easy to use. Installation requires a gas line and an electrical line for spark. A professional is preferred for instal with a gas line, but it is not too difficult for the experienced DIY person.

I really like the look of this gas cooktop. It is very roomy at 34 inches. The stainless stell looks very professional and my husband likes that he doesnât have to worry about enamel chipping or the cooktop rusting. The grates are solid and have a nice weight to them, but they are still easy to remove for easy cleanup. If you are looking for a nice size cooktop that looks great and functions well this is an excellent option.
