I have a working light in the freezer again.
Unlike the lighting of past refrigerator/freezers which used conventional screw in light bulbs, this is a circuit board with three LED’s on it. I’ve been meaning to replace the original one as it stopped working maybe when it was about a year old. So I suddenly saw this on Amazon Vine and requested it. I just got it. It only took a few minutes to install. Remove the plastic cover and the old circuit board pops out easily, remove it from the connector and do the reverse to install the new one. As soon as I plugged it in, it lit up. Hurray! I just put it all back together and I was done. I never realized how easy it would be too.EDIT: It didn’t last very long, it lasted about 2 months, today I opened up the freezer door and the light was out.

I’m so glad I saw a tutorial on YouTube and found this led light board on Amazon. It took me just a few minutes to install, and it works perfectly! It’s much more affordable than what GE was asking for!
