Heats the area evenly
SereneLife makes some high quality little heaters. I like them so much that I have now purchased 4 different kinds for various spots around my house and the lake house. I got this unit to heat up my 2 car garage, so I can work out there during the winter. I love to do projects, but I hate freezing my butt off while trying to work. It’s not much fun and counterproductive when I have to bundle up or even worse wear gloves. It arrived well packaged and ready to install. Everything you need to hang it is included and it takes no time at all to put up. It’s a very well engineered and constructed unit. The carbon fiber heating element puts the heat out evenly and there are no super hot spots. The unit is lightweight, quite durable and super sturdy. I love that there’s a remote. I have a very high ceiling in the garage, so I hung the unit about 3/4 of the way up and then plugged it into the outlet on the ceiling. The remote makes it so convenient. This even has disco lights on it. I had no clue that this unit did that, until I accidentally hit a button. Party time in the garage! 𤣠As I’m writing this there are no reviews on this product, but don’t let that deter you. I’ve purchased 4 high quality heater units from them and many other items over the years. I’ve yet to have any trouble with any of the items I’ve purchased. Everything works great and is holding up perfectly. I wish I would’ve thought of getting one of these sooner. It’s going to make my winter much more enjoyable.

Almost perfect
It could be some of my fault for not checking the dates fully for some of the older reviews, but it’s still a little disappointing that the product pages don’t explicitly state which models are being shown in comparison to the product’s feature description. I’m referring to the contradicting info, as well as the AI generated info about the remote control settings and the output. This unit arrived safely, but only has an ON/OFF feature set to 1500w. There’s definitely some intense heat coming off of this thing so I’d advise putting this far away from guests, children and pets. The unit itself heats up quite a bit, too, the matalkic parts of it, so definitely keep at a safe distance either mounted onto the ceiling or against a wall. So like I said, it’s either ON/Off, which isn’t terrible, but the lack of heating options is disappointing. I bought another model from this brand nearly 3 years ago (still going strong) and it had 3 levels of heating as well as a physical power switch, though you still needed the remote control to actually choose a heat setting.I suppose the saving grace for this model, though, is that, because this only has 1 power setting and if you can not find the remote, you can still turn the unit on/off with the included panel on its face. So all in all there are some pros and cons, but there are much more of the former than the latter. An ideal unit would combine the quick, radiating heat that these models consistently output with a remote control + on-panel controls with at least 2 heating options and all functions on the heaters themselves. Don’t get me wrong, I do really enjoy this heater, but just be careful when choosing the right one for your needs. Once you find it, you should be nice and toasty for years to come.

Banger for your buck
We’ve had this heater for 3 years now. As I sit here warming up in the garage I thought, why not do a review on this thing? It’s been a beast. I don’t know if I would use it on an open patio though. But it’s great in an enclosed-ish area. Like I said too, we’ve had it 3 years now and still going strong. So if you want something that lasts and does a great job at heating areas up like enclosed patios or garages … This is for you I promise!

This is a killer heater for the price, very easy to install as well. I put it in my wife’s wood shop above the entry, it heats it up quickly. Great quality as well, great product

Description doesn’t refelect the mounting instructions but it works well anyway.
It’s not a big deal, and was totally expected, but the description says that it can be wall mounted. The instructions have minimum distance specifications that make this very difficult. I expected it, so had a steel trapeze hung from the ceiling (it’s an unfinished basement) to make sure it’s well away from anything combustible. I don’t think it’s really necessary because it doesn’t get very hot around the unit.
