Wrong parts caused one burner cannot turn on
Bad Quality control. Found one burner cannot turn on, after long observation I found the cap of burner does not match the head of burner. After observer the other few burners I found the head of burner in package should not belongs to this model. Any way still waits for seller to solve this issue.

    Good cooktop for the price
I have to go for this model as it perfectly fits in the granite opening that we have. The only problem that I have with this cooktop is the ignition of central burner. If you don’t turn it on a certain way it doesn’t work.

Install tips… for 36 inch gas cooktop.
We just finished installing this cooktop. For the price we were impressed. The only problem we had was the connector you see in the first photo. As we replaced a GE that was 17 years old we were able to take the old brass fitting and reuse it after cleaning( pic shows wire brush we used).Make sure to use pipe dope(see picture) for the fittings. Do a soapy water test when you turn on your gas line to check for leaks. If there are leaks you need more pipe dope on the fitting threads. If you choose to use pipe tape you must use the yellow one for gas lines. It was time to test… see pic of my awesome husband who did the install! Make sure all burner covers are flush and you will get a steady flame. It was a easy install for us. Tomorrow we will install the range hood. I recommend this product. We did not use the enclosed metal clips. We plan to use a rubber or foam seal under the edge of the cooktop instead. I am happy!

I love this low profile gas stove top!
We needed a low profile gas stove top because our oven is tall. I read the reviews on this one and even though some were questionable, I chose it. The stove is great! I enclosed a picture with all 5 burners going. 😉 It’s easy to clean. When I put the burner tops back on, if they are not fully on, the burner doesn’t work. Safety thing I presume. So put it together properly (not difficult to do) and you will also love this gas stove top!

Flimsy design that buckles after a while
I’ve had this cooktop for two years now. I really wanted to like it, and it does have some good features; unfortunately it has some major drawbacks as well. It’s disappointing, because I think they could have addressed the problems and really had a great product. Overall I don’t recommend this cooktop, and I’m right now actively looking for a replacement.First the good.First, it generally works as expected; the middle burner is big and hot and the others are fine too. The middle burner is actually too big for many pots and pans, so for those you can’t really use it on max – but if you take this into account with either a bigger pot or a smaller flame it’s fine.Second, it has a really shallow body (the part that goes “into” the countertop). That’s a big ‘pro’ for me, because it gives you space to fit a big oven underneath; it’s actually the main reason I selected this model. If you don’t have an oven underneath, this would not be a particular benefit for you.Now the bad. There are two main negatives to this cooktop – the body is really flimsy and the ‘click, click, click’ problem. The body of this cooktop is not rigid enough – I think it’s fair to call it ‘flimsy’ in fact. The central part of the body is not reinforced in any way, and since the middle burner naturally takes the heaviest loads it tends to ‘sag’ over time, which is really unfortunate. If you’ve ever put up a shelf or a horizontal hanging pole and seen it start to sag in the middle after some time of being in use, it’s basically the same thing with this cooktop. So the center of the body ends up being permanently lower than the sides, which means when you put a pan on the outside burners it has a distinct slope towards the middle burner and won’t sit level. You can kind of work around this in various ways, but overall it’s a bad look – both literally for the cooktop, but also for the company that makes it. It’s a real pity I have to say.The next problem it has – which is a very common one with gas cooktops I must admit, is the electricity keeping on trying to ignite when it thinks the flame is not on. That typical ‘click-click-click-click’ sound. I’ve found this cooktop is quite a lot worse than others I’ve had and that I’ve seen; it’s so bad that basically I’ve just unplugged it most of the time, and light it by hand. It seems like a small thing, but – at least for me – it’s grown to be a tangible annoyance. So that’s the bad. Now the ugly. I don’t think any of these are game-changers that would make me not buy this cooktop again, but here they are.First, as I mentioned above, the middle burner is actually too big. Overall, this cooktop would just be a lot better if the middle burner was smaller but with the same BTUs. Second, it’s hard to clean. This is – no doubt – a problem with many gas cooktops, but still it’s a small sore point. The grates are hard to clean, and there doesn’t seem any way to get replacements from the company. The body itself is stainless steel … of the type that scratches incredibly easily when cleaning. So it looks great before its first use, but after a month of daily cooking it starts to look pretty dingy, no matter how careful you are.
