Mobile Heating Pad
The UTK brand Cordless Far Infrared Heating Pad is essential to have when you need relief to back pain or just as a home therapy type remedy. It is designed for the lower back/lumbar area but I found it is very useful to wrap around your shoulder and underarm (crossbody) to capture that area right between your shoulder blades. You can plug it in and use it or charge it and be mobile.

Worth the price tag, if the battery pack didn’t suck!
As an endo warrior, after getting toasted skin syndrome from my OTHER heating pad, this one was worth every penny. The heating pad itself it phenomenal, it does everything you would want it to do, and I love it. However the BIG downside to it, is they use a proprietary plug for the battery pack. After two months of solid use I have already seen a huge reduction in the charge output, and they don’t offer a separate battery pack for purchase. So It dies in an hour and a half and then you have to wait 4x times as long without a heating pad for it to charge to full again. Why can’t UTK just use a USB style plug so you can have some back up batteries? Instead, you have to buy a whole new product and that just ruins it.

It is convenient because I don’t have to deal with any cords dangling all over the place. It does get quite warm but it is not quite as quick as one that is plugged in. That was expected because battery operated heating pads tend not to get as warm or warm up as quickly. My only problem with it was that the heating area is a little small for my needs. Most of the heating pad does not have any heating elements on it. For it to be truly effective for my needs, I need more heating elements. Even two more would work fine.The price is a bit expensive for what you get but if you have small areas that need heating, it is worth looking at.

This heating pad provides me with lots of relief with my back pain. It is easy to put on and take off. I like how fast it heats up and no time.

Allows for mobility, limited coverage.
This pad provides limited coverage due to the infrared balls built in. It would be better if the infrared was longer on the belt. I had difficulty placing the power pack in the pouch because the pouch was located on the opposite side of the belt. The cord for the power pack attachment could be longer. The belt heated just fine, but it took about 10 minutes to reach the warmest temp on high.

Soothing heat
This heating pad has 16 Jade inserts on the inside that help generate the far infrared heat. I find that the heat is soothing and more penetrating than regular heating pads. The belt is well constructed with a pocket where you can insert the battery pack, which is included. It’s easy to operate as it just has a single button which you press to turn on and to change the temperatures. There are no long cords or controllers to deal with.

Stylish Heating Pad
The heating pad is stylish, and the design pattern reminds me of Coach products. I am using this for my back and it fits nicely. The belt strap is long and would work on almost everyone. It offers 3 heating options and is easy to use. The heating pad comes with a rechargeable battery. It has a propriety connection to the belt instead of a standard USB connection for power. It works well and can be used while moving about.

They Had Me At Cordless
Very nice cordless heated pad for my back. Extremely portable and multi settings make this a great item. This is a must have for local travel, post or pre-exercise, or just for comfort. This was a little pricy, in my opinion. It depends on your needs and wants – I needed this.
