I like gas burners on glass (gas on glass) as they are called because you can take a razor blade and scrape the glass clean,Also I like it separate from an oven because it cosst a heck of a lot less. If you try to buy an oven with a gas on glass top you will spend a lot of money these days. I wanted one with a full grid over the surface of the top so the pan can be placed anywhere on or off a burner without tipping. There is no real reason why an oven has to have a burner directly above it. Furthermore if either unit fails you still have the other one working. This unit had a unusual compression gas connection. In this country most are rather conical in their male and female connection. This one was has a flat surface. Neither of these require tape they are compression fittings. However when we assembled this one it gave us a little bit of a fit in the form of a slight gas leak which after some inspection and scratching our heads we discovered that a thread shard from the machining of the gas fitting elbow ( that is a free one that came in the package) was down on the seat inhibiting a complete compressive seal. We blew the thread shard out and everything was fine. that is the first time in my life I’ve ever seen a thread shard in a gas fitting. The knobs are not as sexy as they might be but that’s a matter of personal opinion. Otherwise good. And remember it’s always the gas burner that ends up looking lousy after a number of years so in this scenario you can replace it independent of the oven for almost no money, while the oven will continue to work and work

Got it down to an awesome simmer
Hard to buy these stove tops. Most manufactures praise how high the heat is? I’ve owned many propane stoves from early Seawards to the latest a single burner. On this unit I finally got the smaller burner to give me a awesome simmer which was priority for me. Not easy getting the seal back on, a long flathead screw driver is needed. I’ll just say rice is happening again. The grate is heavy feels of quality, you can get very small pans on it for warming soup and all but you won’t be able to throw your torts on the grate. Just got it I’ll let you know in a year or so.

Very poor and dangerous. The stove got hot and broke into 1000 pieces in just 45 days after purchasing it. The poor quality of the materials used in its construction was evident, The manufacturer’s lack of attention to detail resulted in a faulty product that was a danger to use. It was a disappointing experience overall, and a lesson learned to always research products thoroughly before making a purchase.

The cook top is straight forward to install. The only advice I would give is when you install the Propane jets, there are 2 different sizes which wasn’t apparent to me with in the instructions. I first started it and the bigger burner wasn’t working well and would go out with the safety thermal coupler not getting enough flame. I switched the jets and all fixed, lol. This cook top also simmers really well. Great for the percolator coffee makerVery happy

After careful and professional propane gas connection the burner got fire internally (manufacture seal area underneath burners). Luckily I could able to stop the gas flow and fire down the fire.When I received the product I could not test properly because it need additional items. example gas regulator and connectors, manufacture not provide those items. I ordered from same amazon.ca primebecause I think prime member is better protected for the expensive subscription but not. I called to Amazon.ca for help (lt is not easy to reach them). Lady anna said she need to transfer escalation teamto resolve this issue because it is defective product, and she said she will explained to the team I don’t have to repeat again, after long wait she blind transfer to Sandeep( India for Canadian call), He repeat the same script, but he is not escalation team either, I ask to speak with supervisor, he transfer to his buddy in specialize team, She( Shamyla) 100% reading the script, I recorded the whole conversation and informed them I am doing. When I asking the right question she hanged up the call without any warnings. What a Amazon India call center service. Prime subscription is worth it to bully by Amazons agent by agent than helping their heavy order customer. I am not satisfied with the service at all or agent responses. I left total over $275 in whole by amazon.ca prime. Please think twice before order expensive items does not matter prime membership. She hanged up without any resolution or details,. What is the next step to do ?
