Better than my old space heater
First, I appreciate that the seller got it to me on time. This heater is quieter than my old-fashioned space heater, and significantly more efficient. I’ve had this now for more than a week, and I’ve found it keeps me warm enough in my poorly insulated RV, even at the “LO” setting while I work at my dining table. I don’t have to run it at “HI” yet (as outside temperatures are in the mid 40s right now). This unit has a woodgrain cabinet, which feels solid and looks good. This is certainly pricier than a regular space heater, but I think in the long run will be a great value for the money. One more thing, the “ECO” setting basically just drops it to 68° and it stops heating at that point until the inside temps cool below that. As I get a little older I like the temperature a little bit higher, so for me the ECO setting would be better designed as a lower wattage setting at any temperature I set it to, so it’s a more “constant” heat emanating from this unit.

Plastic on front of grate
For some reason there’s plastic over the metal grating in front, and it’s making a horrible smell when the heater warms up. Disappointing because I bought this unit to avoid plastic and off-gassing.Update: The chemical smell stopped, but still not thrilled about the plastic. Heats well and reliably so far.

Working great keeping my cold home office toasty warm
I put this in my finished basement home office as it was always colder than other rooms. This works great and warms it up nicely and shuts off when it reaches temp. Remote is nice too.

Too tall, tips over easily, poor heat dispersion.
This unit is too top heavy for a tall slender unit. The heat output is adequate but too scattered to create a good base heating front.

Has weird settings
Supposed to able to be run for a good amount of time and after a while it does this weird thing where while running it goes to fan the heater then fan then heater. I haven’t found a way to fix it even with the book. Wish it worked better.

Overpriced
We have an older infrared heater similar to this one. Not so. Packaging was nice and secure even though outside Amazon box had some wear. As soon as I opened it I knew it would be returned. The “wood” particle board was already wearing off on one side of the top. It was easy to tell the heater wouldn’t wear well. Cheap material. Even the panel looked cheap. I did a trial run and it heated up nicely. Will be looking for made in USA now.
