Favorite Space Heater Yet!
We bought this to space heater to replace our older space heater. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to go with this model.It works great for the size and heats up our den with ease. I was very skeptical. I got this on Black Friday for $52. I figured it was worth a gamble so I took a shot at it. I was needing a heater for a 15 x 15 room in my shop. I didnât wanna run the big furnace when I was just working in the one room, shipping was quick, so I took it out of the box and plugged it up and thought here we go. The room started out at 38° 20 minutes later it was 70°. I am blown away. I shouldâve got two of these at the sale price if youâre looking for a small heater at a great price this is it. It works well, even on high. Itâs quiet. The electrical cord does not run hot and it blows a fair amount of air like I said, I am super impressed and will buy another one if needed. when it first started up, it will stink a little bit burning whatever it is off the coils Iâm sure but it went away, other than that itâs totally awesome.

Fan goes out after about 2 years both in the Amazon and the duraflame similar heater
Heating elements work fine, but after 1-2 years, the fans stop pushing air out – they just do not come on. Besides not blowing air out, they heat the inside, and when it gets too hot, a thermal breaker turns off the heaters.I have not had this issue with Dr Infrared Heater, at least after over a year, so I am getting another Dr Infrared.

Heats up the room very quickly.Size is good, not too big; it has wheels to role it around.Extremely quite.It has a remote so I can turn it on before I get out of the bed.I use it only between 3pm and 7am. My electric bill does not get higher.

I bought this heater for two reasons: the reviews and the fact that if I had a problem, I would deal with Amazon and Amazonâs warranty directly.The reviews seemed good for this heater. There were so many positive ones, I did not pay close enough attention to the negative ones. My mistake!I received the heater today! I was excited to try it. Initially plugging it in, all seemed well. The heater was quiet, and a nice warm air flowed out of the vents.After 15 to 20 minutes though, this heater started making a consistently loud, high-pitched squealing noise. The noise would alternate in intensity. You could hear the squeal get louder and more powerful, then it would get it a little weaker. The sound is so bad, there is no way I could ever listen to it day in and day out through the winter months.I started reading more Amazon reviews and saw some stating the safety tip-over feature on this heater did not work. I decided to put mine on its side to see if it would shut off. It did not! While on its side and while completely upside down, the heater continued to blow and whine. It never turned off! Scary!I then decided to power off the heater to put back in its box to return, but it would not turn off. I tried pressing the power button 10 different ways, and nothing happened. The heater kept going. I had to put it on its lowest setting and wait for it to cycle off so I could unplug it from the wall.The high-pitched whining noise, the inability to turn it off, and the fact that this heater continues to run while on its side or upside down is scary, especially in a house with kids.Amazon needs to do better! This heater should be recalled and not sold to the general public.

Great Heat!
So this heater is small compared to what we had but it so far produces more heat and is very quiet. Very happy with the purchase so far. Day 2 though. Will update the review if needed.UPDATELoving this heater! 12×10 room and it heats great. Thermostat works. Initially thought we wouldn’t use the remote but we are now since the heater is not that tall and I was getting on my knees to adjust the temperature. This heater is so much better and more efficient than the one we had before (different manufacturer). We are very happy with it.
