Nice to look at, TERRIBLE functional gas oven.
Oven takes 35 minutes to heat up and POURS HOT AIR into the room during cooking process. Had to buy a toaster oven to use instead as house heats up too, too much. Bertazzoni says the oven is functioning properly after sewing the video I sent to them.

The worst oven/range I’ve ever used
I’m an enthusiastic home baker and cook and I was thrilled to move into a new apartment with all-new Bertazzoni appliances. They looked so sleek and modern after a lifetime of cheap rental white appliances. Joke’s on me! Every single appliance is the worst of its kind – the fridge freezes without warning, the microwave ventilation is a joke, the stovetop has no effective ‘medium’ setting – it’s either medium-high or low, the dishwasher only runs on a Tuesday if you’re wearing green and standing on your left food and the OVEN. The OVEN is my nemesis. The oven only turns on 1 out of every 4 attempts. There’s the temperature on the dial, the temperature on the gauge readout and the temperature from my trusty $10 oven thermometer – these three numbers are NEVER the same. The oven emits so much gas into our apartment that we have to keep all the windows open when it runs so my partner doesn’t get a headache. The bottom isn’t even a warming drawer, for heaven’s sake. Absurd amounts of heat escape, I don’t even want to stand in front of the oven when it’s on. This is GARBAGE. I miss my super cheap no-name renter’s range from my last apartment. It was nothing to look at and it was harder to clean, but by god, it worked and worked consistently. The only thing that brings me comfort is knowing this is a rental and I didn’t have to shell out for any of this junk. Stay away from this entire brand!

LP conversion notes
Installed and did conversion on this range yesterday. Two comments: to change the oven gas orifice, installation guide instructs to remove oven door. I would not advise doing so, and I do not think it is necessary. Removal of the oven floor panel is necessary, but it looks possible to do without removing door. Of course, it is easier to position your body for doing the work if the oven door is removed, and if you attempt the work with the door in place you will have to be careful not to distort the door with the weight of your body. The reason I do not recommend removal of the oven door is that the latches which hold the hinges in the correct position for removal and installation are completely inadequate for the application. With the hinges is the latched-open position, a slight bump will cause them to release. Not only is it challenging to return the hinges to the fully open position with the door removed, the latches are not sturdy enough to withstand the force of the door springs, and will basically fold. This will make them unsuitable for holding the door open, and the distortion will make it impossible to close the oven door. Other methods will need to be improvised in order to get the door back on, and the distorted latches will need to be conformed to allow the door to close. The other comment is that all the installed orifices are tightened beyond what is necessary. Removal will not present a problem with the proper 7mm socket, however there is one orifice (on the center (double) burner that is positioned horizontally, without room to use a socket. In my case, it was installed so tightly that a 7mm box-end wrench rounded the facets. Since I did not expect to reuse the installed NG orifice, and since it was already rounded off, I used vise grip pliers to extract it. Other than that it all went pretty well, and all burners seemed to work properly.

Beautiful and functions great!
Great oven and the 5 burner stovetop is perfect when making multiple items at the same time. It does take a bit to learn how to use. Recommend watching a few YouTube videos. The range doesnât click like a typical stovetop but works perfectly when you get the hang of it. Does emit a lot of heat out the top vent. We have a hood ventâwould recommend or I could see this making a kitchen very hot and not well ventilated.

Non Functional but pretty!
This is a beautiful stove, and it would be great 1) if it worked 2) if the USA home base of the company were able to service them. Since I purchased this, it has NEVER worked correctly. Initially, the oven wouldn’t start. I called Bertazzoni. They sent technicians from a third party service provider-who made the problem worse. I called again because they told me they needed a part. I called Bertazzoni again. Another service call later, new part that I supposedly needed installed…and now the oven does not even pretend to work. At least before it made a noise like it might turn on. I called again (please note no one ever reached out to me). They were waiting for a part from Italy. No response. Three weeks later, I called and they told me that the part probably wasn’t the issue, but I would need to wait until it came in. Multiple emails, phone calls, and I have a brand new (pretty) non functional stove. I hope that some of their stoves work, but if you have ANY PROBLEM, you will be MONTHS without a stove (5 for me).

Looks great, junk from day one.
I purchased and had this range installed from a reputable dealer. From day one the stove had issues. Convection oven fans on full blast and would never turn off, contacted Bertazzoni and a 3rd party tech was dispatched. Part had to ordered and took about 5 weeks until repaired. After that the screen would display error and randomly the fans would still kick on out of nowhere and run NON STOP, until I shut the breaker off. Another tech dispatched, another part ordered, waited and repairs. Igniter goes bad all the time (instead of an igniter for each burner, itâs one main igniter for all 6 burners, dumb design). I have a bertazzoni fridge and dishwasher as well. All cheaply made problematic junk. DO NOT BUY. The refrigerator just decided to dump all its refrigerant out and stop workingâ¦..not covered under warranty JUNK! DO NOT BUY!!!!

The oven grates this unit comes with exploded burning our floors
This models oven grate that this unit comes with exploded burning our floors while cooking. Thankfully my wife was not injured. The grates branded a 2 and 3 inch line on our brand new wood floors. They refused to cover any damages for their manufacturing defect. Spend your money a different brand.
