Is the oven self-igniting, or do you need to manually light it with a lighter each time you want to use it?

Utilizing electronic pulse ignition, it’s essential to power on before starting the ignition process.

Which side (facing the oven) is the gas connector on?

The left side.

I don’t have 12V in my tiny house. Can I use this without plugging in the DC power for the lights?

Yes, you can use it without power to ignite the range top. But the lights and the oven need electricity.

Will a 5lb propane tank work?

Any size propane tank will work as long as you have the correct adapter.

Does it need an insulation wrap around it?

No. It can be installed in the designated area by removing it from the shipping container and installing it per the instructions provided

Customers say

Customers appreciate the range’s functionality, build quality, appearance, and ease of installation. They find it works well, the stove top functions normally, and the oven light works great. The thicker material holds pans more securely on uneven camp spots. The oven heats to the accurate temperature and bakes evenly without hotspots or burning. While most are happy with the roominess, some have differing opinions on the ignition capability.

  1. Amazon Customer

    Quality product
This little gas range works great. It heats up nicely and easy to install. Very happy with our purchase

Excellent upgrade and value for money.
Let me start off with saying when I first received this it had been damaged in shipping. It was apparently stabbed with a forklift. Amazon customer service made things right and has a new one delivered within a couple days. These things happen and it’s not the fault of Amazon or the seller. The important thing is they made it right, with no hesitation. As for the oven, it’s far nicer than my factory oven. My factory oven worked fine and I only replaced it because I wanted a shorter physical oven to make room to install an inverter underneath. I was pleasantly surprised at how much nicer this oven was. I went in doing the swap to gain room but ended up with an upgrade at the same time. Very nice surprise. I did have to ultimately by a copper line cut off and flare kit (also off Amazon) to prepare the propane line. My original oven had the connection for this pretty far into the unit, under the cook top. On this new oven, the connection is all the way on the back. Because of this, I needed to trim about 6” off. I was a bit skeptical at first, as I’ve never done this and was concerned I’d screw if up and have a leak. However, the flare kit I purchased was simple to use and made a perfect leak free flare the first time, with zero issue. I couldn’t be happier with either purchase, particularly for the price. One last thing, since I only just cooked on it for the first time this past weekend. The oven cooks far more evenly than my prior oven and the thick cook top grates are not only far higher quality than my previous oven but the thicker material held my pan more sturdy on the uneven camp spot I cooked on (more friction). I was camping in a parking spot backed up to the lake and the angle was greater than I could compensate for with the leveling blocks I had. I know it’s a small thing, but my previous cooktop would have had the pan sliding off its thin slick grate.

    Easy DIY Install
Replaced ancient Atwood with this Camplux and not only upgraded looks of my RV kitchen but did wonders for cooking and baking. No more burnt biscuit bottoms, lots of room for my big skillet on stove top and absolutely love the glass cover which fits snugly over burners and provides more counter space when stove is not in use. No more standing on my head to light oven and oven’s huge glass window allows you to check contents without letting heat out . Old stove had no need for DC connection but my husband easily ran a wire from fuse box’s empty slot and knobs colorful LED lights are very attractive and oven light work great. Highly recommend this range, only wish I’d done this replacement years ago.

    Doesn’t work
I used the oven one time and then it stopped working. The burners on top still work, just not the oven.

    Initial Impressions
Arrived in fine shape a day earlier than expected! Super impressed by the obvious quality immediately evident. Super easy installation and setup. Will update review after some extended use.Break Break31 Oct 2024 – I’ve used the stove/oven for about a month now and give a full five star rating… if I could give six, I would. Firstly, it lights immediately, something I can’t say about my last stove (Furrion). Secondly, the burners are clean burning and dependable…no dead spots or yellow flames. Finally, the oven bakes evenly without hotspots or burning. I can finally put cokies in that are perfectly browned throughout without burnt edges or bottoms! I can’t express the level of my delight !!!!!!!

  6. Music

    Junk
Oven door gaps while using oven to cook. After cooking just once the door is permanently warped and will not close completely. Pure junk!

  7. Kal Hilburn

    Looks Great! Works Great?
Took a couple of hours to remove old stove and install new one. Stop for an Ice Cream break are it would have been less. Also had to install a 110 volt AC to 12 volt DC converter and run the wire for that. Nice And roomie oven for a RV stove. Lights around knobs do not work but not something we need anyway.

  8. Roger L

    Absolutely love this unit!
The unit is perfect for us. The oven is large enough to cook almost anything in it. The look and feel are great. When you close the oven door it feels and sounds like a fine piece of engineering. The instillation was simple hooked up two wires a gas line and screwed it into place. No kidding, less than 20 minutes.

  9. Netghost

After posting my last review on the 17″ and noting it was too small, the seller kindly contacted me and exchanged it for a larger 21″ model. I am very happy with the experience . These ovens are well built, with good fit and finish, but beware the 17″ has an oven with a very low height. Opt for the 21″ it is much more practical.

  10. Brenda Rogers

My order arrived a week before the estimated arrival date, was able to get installed right away and I am over the moon with my baking so far. The large oven window and light inside are great and the easy lighting, all I can say is WOW.

  11. alexandr

    well packed, nice blue light

  12. Sor58

Looks nice, but for the paid price , the manual piezoelectric button could be an automatic piezo start . Is a good upgrade for our motorhome .
