Great buy would buy again
I love this dryer. It works most excellent. The drying capacity is great. I can fit a queen size duvet cover in it and it dries it perfectly. Only problem I’ve had is if heavy objects like I dried a bunch of my dogs stuffies in it, The door might pop open a little bit but it’ll give you a warning buzzer that that happens. Has plenty of settings on it for however you want to dry your clothes. Arrived very well packaged even though the box looked like it went through world war 3 it was not dented or damaged at all unlike the first dryer I tried to purchase which did go through world war 3 and was damaged and didn’t work. It’s kind of heavy so if it’s just one person you might want to have a little help cuz it’s a little bigger than I thought it was going to be. It’s not a teeny tiny dryer but it’s not a huge dryer either It’s just right. If you’ve got a 1.6 cubic foot washing machine it’s going to be able to dry your clothes. Well worth the money I caught it on sale and I waited a long time before I purchased it and I waited it for to go on buy it used before I bought it well worth of money.

UPDATE 11/04/24 Can you believe this dryer is still working without issue? I can’t. I better knock on wood.I have a tiny home and I do not do without the conveniences of a modern home. Everything is just scaled down to fit on a counter or run 110v and take up much less room. There were a few reasons I chose this dryer over the now much wider range of portable we have to choose from.PROS:1.) It’s size. One of the largest of portables.2.) The wattage. Allowing for the highest temperature you can get in a 110v portable.3.) Wall mountable. It was a must for me since the dials were at the bottom of the unit. I’d actually love to be able to set it on the ground, but at least this way, it frees up some room underneath for laundry baskets.4.) Uses standard 4 inch exhaust. I punched a hole in an exterior wall to add permanent ventilation.5.) Uses a reverse in cycles so that it will untangle your clothing, i e long sleeve shirts and the legs of pants. NO MORE KNOTS!CONS:1.) It doesn’t come with mounting brackets. I used my old ones from the previous dryer.2.) You can not see into the window. That is a bummer.With that being said, here are a few things you should know before purchasing along with some tips. This is probably the largest of portables and you probably will not get a better temperature as I haven’t found a higher-wattage portable on the market. To match your washer efficiently, make sure the washer sq ft is close to half the sq ft of your dryer. This is important if you want to wash and dry at the same time without backing up the laundry at the dryer portion of doing laundry. When the dryer finishes a cycle, depending on how heavy-duty the fabric is, it should be dry, allowing you to switch out clothes at a steady pace. Here’s a helpful hint. Buy lighter-weight cheaper towels. It just makes sense for your portable dryer. They dry so much quicker. I love a luxury towel, but do you know how heavy they are when damp? It takes too long to dry and it causes a lot of stress on your dryer and its belts.If your dryer is causing noise, you should be looking at the internal braces that allow it to tumble freely. You may have to bend it back into the proper position. This is a slight shipping damage that can occur. You may also need to wedge something between the dryer and the drum brace so that it firmly holds without the vibration noise. Open the back and figure it out. You can do this, I have faith in that.If you wear a pants size with a length of 34 as I do, turn them inside out, fold your pants together long ways, and then fold them three times from the waist to the bottom of the pant leg and place them in the dryer flat left to right. You’ll get a quicker dry and fewer wrinkles. I would do this with all pants regardless of size, actually. Don’t use dryer sheets. They damage your dryer. Use wool balls. You can add essential oils to make your clothing smell wonderful. When you take a towel out of this dryer, it is very warm and feels so good just stepping out of the shower. I’ve had my dryer since April 7th, this year. I’m VERY happy with my purchase. My previous dryer was a Magic Chef dryer model # mcsdry1s. This new dryer is a major upgrade.

Fire hazard DONâT RISK IT!
Second update! After having the replacement unit stored away for almost 2 years I decided to bring it out and use it. Well what do ya know! Not even a month of using this and I just plugged it in and I heard a noise, then the dryer wouldnât start. I was confused. I was touching around and sure enough right in the same spot as before, inside on the front behind the front filter piece yhst melted before, it was burning up! Iâm convinced this dryer is going to burn someoneâs house down or worse. If it already hasnât. Iâm not even contacting the company this time as I know they donât care and I would NEVER accept another replacement as my family and my home mean more to me than this dryer! Scary stuff!!! Do NOT buy! And Costway you should be looking into why your dryers are doing this!!!Update: I contacted the company directly. First they offered a refund on the first dryer from 7 months ago which I thought was good customer service since they didnât have to. However I expressed to them my concern over them not wanting it back to look into what happened as it seemed like a serious safety issue. I also told them the new dryer wasnât drying as well as the first one did. I was surprised they ended up giving me a full refund on both dryers and didnât want me to return either one. Iâm still hesitant with using this product but I am happy with the outcome. Would have been better if theyâd have looked into what caused the dryer to get hot after two days of no use. Not happy with that.âââââ-Where do I begin. I bought this in November. A couple months ago it began tripping my circuit breaker. I wasnât sure what to think. A couple weeks ago it tripped the circuit breaker just from closing the door. This made no sense and I was concerned and stopped using it. Although I was upset that the warranty was a measley 6 months and I just missed it by a month, I was initially happy with this dryer. Soooo I just ordered another one since this time Amazon offered an extended warranty plan. The new dryer didnât dry as well as my first one though so I decided I would be returning it. I unhooked it on Saturday and hooked up the older one again and used it on Saturday. It only tripped the circuit breaker once, and again it was when I closed the door on the dryer. Skip to this morning ⦠I was in the room and set my phone on the dryer. Itâs now Monday and I havenât used the dryer since Saturday. When I grabbed my phone something felt warm. ??? I opened the dryer door and reached inside and OH MY GOSH! it was SOOOO hot! Nearly burned my hand. I immediately unplugged the dryer. It hasnât been used in 2 days!!!! I then noticed the vent was warped from the high heat. I am 100% convinced this would have started a fire had I not have realized it was hot. I am waiting to hear back from the company and will update this when I do. For now Iâm thinking I will avoid this brand at all costs. It was the scariest thing to realize my family could have been in danger due to a faulty dryer with a horrible warranty!

I bought this not even 5 mo ths ago….I am so so disappointed. I am a single grandmother raising grandchild and I needed this badly. I saved and saved for this as I read some good reviews.I have 2 regular sized towels in the dryer right now and on the 3rd time trying to dry them.I have never had one load dry in one time. (I am in no way loading too much into it… )It has not only wasted time and money, but my hydro bill has jumped so high from this product. (I live in an apartment, and in winter tike my hydro is never over 120 for 2 months ths….it has been 267!!!!)I am so extremely upset by this…and feeling really let down by this dryerLeft 1 star cause I had to…

Arrived before the scheduled date. Was larger than I expected. Takes longer to dry towels and you canât over stuff the dryer. But Iâm glad that I made the purchase along with the portable washing machine because the cost of doing laundry at my building just went up. They will both pay for themselves in a few months.
