Big Smiles â Weekender Camping at -0°F Freezing Temps
Little did I realize how valuable the CFX345 would be. We bought this unit to fit into our Pop-Up CamperVan. Although this unit can only be set at one temperature at a time it more than covered and protected our weekend outdoor camping with 12v and then at the AirBnB at 120v. We never lost our expensive fish and meats. Well worth the value and quality. The iPhone (Android) bluetooth app was set to let us know if the temperature ever changedâand it kept constant in a plus or minus -4°F setting.Big smiles with this unit.

Absolutely Outstanding
I bought tge 46L for extra freezer space in our camper trailer and it is outstanding! I run it from a battery pack when we are on the road, and AC when in camp. It never misses a beat and everything stays frozen! The unit is a little pricey, but worth ever cent to us!

Top End Quality
I would. have given this five stars. However, I also brought the protective cover. Unfortunately it did not fit. So had to return it and order another. Good thing Amazon return policy and reimbursement is the best. However, for the high cost of cooler/frig and protective cover I would have expected for better quality from the protective cover. The cooler/fridge is worth the investment.

It worked well for about 9 months. Now it has power, but won’t cool. I have contacted Dometic support to see how they can help, the unit is less than 1 year old.

Keeps things cold
Pretty well built fridge, I have no worries sitting on this or walking over it; I weigh about 200lbs. Keeps food and drink nice and cold for me.

Really happy with the investment in this Dometic CFX3 45L
This fridge is awesome. Super quiet, can not hear it running. Very efficient. The fridge has been running in my jeep with only a single Oddesey battery. No problem maintaining temp and cranking in the morning. I have ordered the external cover and I’m sure it will consume even less energy once installed. It s 90 degrees outside temp so I’m sure the internal temperature of my jeep is much higher. Really like the Bluetooth and wifi capabilities as I can monitor voltage level and temp from inside my house. Hard to beat a Dometic.

Love this cooler
Great product. My last one was the 28 liter (donât think they still make that one) and it lasted 3 years before the compressor stoped keeping my food frozen. But considering Iâm a long haul truck driver and this thing is running 320 or so days of the year including very hot summer days Iâm impressed it lasted that long. Worth every penny to be able to eat healthy food on the road.

I looked at many different 12v fridge/freezers and it seems every reviewer online holds these coolers as the gold standard. It wasn’t cheap but I work away from home and the ability to bring frozen and prepared meals with me has saved time and a lot of money. It works perfectly and it’s nearly silent other than the odd time the compressor runs (which most people won’t hear unless they sit right beside it). The wifi seems finicky but the bluetooth works great with the app. It is worth the extra initial cost.I also bought the cover for it, fits well and it seems to aid in keeping it cool.

Some people complained about the packaging but no complaints here. Solid packaging so no bumps or bruises to report.Firstly, the unit looks great. Even my wife noted this and sheâs not a gadget geek. The lifting handles are really robust. The spring on them are strong. Pinched my finger on it initially. Youâve been warned. My only comment is that the lid and the handle to open the lid doesnât feel as robust as the rest of the unit.Plugged it in to test it. Set it to 2 degree centigrade. Itâs so quiet I had to check to make sure it was working. Temperature drop was surprisingly quick. After 5 minutes there was a notice drop in the temperature. Once it hit the set temp I dropped it into the negatives. Wife chastised me at this point for spending more time with the fridge than her so experiment terminated ⦠for now. Will be taking it on the road in a few weeks so will report back in afterwords.I do agree that the 12V cable to plug into the lighter could be longer but Iâve got a plug at the back of my minivan so it shouldnât affect me.

Reçue depuis une semaine cette glacière fonctionne très bien, est facile dâajustement de température vérifiable à distance grâce à son application, semble très bien construite pour lâisolation mais je lâai quand même recouverte de son enveloppe isolante Dometic pour CFX3 45L (prévue pour garder dans lâauto x saison estivale). Elle consomme environ 45 w/h lors des démarrages et revient à 0 jusquâau redémarrage suivant pour maintenir 41 degrés F. Elle émet environ 45dB sous forme de ronronnement lors de son activité de refroidissement et 0dB au repos. Jâaime quâelle puisse être alimentée électriquement de 3 façons: batterie, secteur et solaire. Jâutilise aussi un parasurtenseur de frigo pour mieux protéger son compresseur. Jâespère quâelle me servira longtemps vue son prix très élevé tout-de-même!
