A solid product
The product meets my immediate need, which is to provide heat into whatever room I was spending the majority of my time in, in this case, my art/creativity room (spare bedroom converted to a computer graphics and music production room). Running the central air to warm the entire townhouse as opposed to focusing it in a room that received most of my time isn’t cost effective. A small portable heater such as this one is perfect for me (who’s the only occupant in the home.Downside (minor): the mild smell of unit’s heating coils(?) when it’s running. I wish it was odorless as when my kitchen oven is on, but there’s a mild ‘aroma’ present when the heater is running.

No grounding
This heater is fully functional and aesthetically pleasing but I have an issue with the wiring. This heater has a 2 prong plug. That means there is no grounding wire. Iâm an electrician and would not recommend a heater without that protection. Yes, it will work without it but grounding is critical on high power appliances as it gives an additional path to ground in the event of an electrical fault. If one wants to purchase this heater, use it on a GFCI protected outlet.
