    Great heater
Doesn’t have any kind of thermostat. Just 3 different always on settings. Works perfectly for what I needed

    Do not buy
I purchased two of these heaters. Only one will power on the other one does not work at all. I contacted the customer service and was only responded to one time. They asked what the problem was and I explained to them that one had absolutely no power and the other one was working fine. They asked me to describe the problem in more detail, and if it was a warranty issue, they would replace it. I responded back to them letting them know. There wasn’t much more detail I could describe it just doesn’t work and the company has quit responding to me. Customer service is crap and they’re not willing to help or stand by their product. I will be returning both of them and purchasing through a different company.

Works great when you’re close, not so much when far away
My garage workshop is unheated, and I got this to take the chill off in the winter, when it’s 40-45°F in there. It’s impossible to heat with a space heater (minimal insulation), so rather than try to heat the whole building I figured I’d try to just keep me warm.I stuck it on the ceiling joist, so it’s 8 ft off the ground, and projecting heat down onto my workbench, which is about 3 ft high. But even at this short distance, I have to turn it up to full power in order to feel any warmth. The remote control is small, and easily lost. I plan to hot glue a magnet to it so I can stick it to my workbench. If you do lose the remote, you can control the power levels with physical buttons, and it has a physical off switch too.It has three power levels, 500W, 1000W, and about 1350W (about 20¢/hr at my power rates).Overall, there’s not enough oomph to keep me warm in the winter, and it’s kind of expensive to operate. If it were lower, say about 6 feet, it would work much work better, but then I’d be hitting my head on it. If it were a bit warmer (early spring/ late fall), then it would probably be sufficient.

Heats good, like the options for settings
Fired this up in the living room, probably not the safest place, but I need the garage walls to get finished. Unless I use it on the patio, haven’t decided yet. Pretty straight forward to use/setup. A tripod option might be nice, but I suppose it would better to have it mounted if you keep it in the same spot so you’re not moving around and risk breaking the tube inside or anything. The heat worked well, you can tell a difference between the heat settings easy enough, especially by how bright it lights up.The biggest drawback I see with it is the remote. It works fine, but the range seemed extremely limited. Once I got over 15 feet away and closer to 20, the heater didn’t seem to respond anymore until I took a step forward. That was a straight line of sight across the room. So if you’re going to mount it high, and use it from across the room…I have concerns on how well that will work. Thinking of that, hm, what’s a back up option if you lose it in the garage, or outside? Gets wet? Not really a con for this heater more than any other, but just thought that occurred to me while contemplating the random little remotes that seem to become more common with gadgets…I guess don’t mount it too high that you can’t reach it easily? If it loses power, it will not come back on, per the unplugging test I did while it was on. So getting it to come on and off with a smart outlet appears will not be an option for this. That’s probably the next step to look for, a smart heater…

    Waste of money
It worked fine for the first month, it developed an E-1 error code. The heater will turn off and display an E-1 error code., I have to unplug it and plug it back in to clear the error code, unfortunately the code comes back on after being on for 5 minutes. Don’t waste your money on this product

    Works Great
Don’t lose the remote! But as long as you have the remote, it works great. Simple to use, set the power and set the timer. We are in our second season with it now and it’s still going. Thanks.

  8. John Antonelli

    Does not work.
This is one of the worst heaters I’ve gotten. I figured They are all the same, this one was 10$ cheaper. That 10$ makes a difference, the heating element at most is 400w on high, and does not project at all
