It’s too hot for my needs
I had high hopes for this without previous reviews. It doesn’t fit my needs. I liked that it was quiet and the shape was interesting. There is no way to set the heat level and this puts off way too much heat for my needs. I also needed to trust leaving it on for much of the wintertime. I had two little Geek Heaters in my bay window to keep it from getting too cold during the winter. I could leave them on for as long as I needed to without worrying about them. One of them just died, though, after several winters of use. This heater doesn’t work for this setup. If you need a quiet heater that you can monitor while you use it, this puts off a lot of heat and looks cool.

    Poor design
This thing is more dangerous than I imagined looking at the photos. A hair can fall in directly on the heater and the inside can’t be dusted. Fire waiting to happen.

  4. Jennifer Stice

    It makes zero noise
I needed a heater in my office that would not make fan noise as my work requires me to be on the phone and people could hear the fan on my old heater. This is perfect! It keeps my office so warm and is so simple to operate. Safety works on it. It’s awesome!

  5. MIRIAM GOURLEY

    Very Pleased
This little heater is amazing for an rv. Uses very little power, 400 watts. Heats up a small area and gives a warm glow. Very pleased

  6. Yaw B

    Works great. Smell terrible
Gave it a try. Left it on for hours but the smell didn’t get any better

Well it’s a source of light and small heat and does get hot!
I really wanted this to be my favorite heater but it is not! The build quality is very strong but its functionality was off! It did not put off the heat like I wished but it did get hot, where I am scared to put anything around it! Think I would order something a little bit safer, just not enough safety features for me! I will save my money next time.

Projects heat in all directions, increasing safety
My old house has some cold spots in winter, and one happens to be in my office area. I’ve long used a ceramic heater there for the coldest two months of the year. My old one burned out after ten years use, and this is the replacement. It has some pros and cons comparied to the old one, but overall I like it. It doesn’t heat as much, but it’s sufficient for my room. The old one was directional, and didn’t need as much space, whereas this one heats in all directions, so it needs a bit of space around it for safety. On the other hand, the all-around heating means it does not project as much heat in any specific direction. This increases safety; it’s less likely to cause anything around it to reach combustion temperature. The old one did singe one of my jacket sleeves once whether sleeve hung too low off my chair. I doubt that would have happened with this one. It’s about ten inches across – see the attached photo. It has a single toggle switch for on/off. The power cord is nice and thick, so no worries there. It did give off a modest burning plastic smell when it was first turned on. This mostly faded away after about twenty minutes. So give it a chance to settle in before assuming there’s something wrong.
