Perfect for our needs!
The Equator 860 compact dryer works like a charm. It sensor dries and is very quiet and efficient. It was easy to set up and I was able to use my previous dryer vent hose. It was delivered on time with no damage. Only weighs 54 lbs. so it was easy to get up the stairs and into our upstairs laundry closet. I purchased an inexpensive appliance stand to boost height beyond what the additional set of legs provided. BLUF: Quality 110V product that produces excellent results, isn’t as noisy as the old dryer, doesn’t use as much power or take up as much space.

Flimsy product and terrible shipping packaging !
Dryer arrived damaged / dented in two places, at the bottom and top of the dryer due to insufficient packing protection (very thin cardboard box and styrofoam panels without any substantial framework of wood or thicker cardboard/styrofoam elements.) Clearly asking for damage during even the most careful handling during transfer/ shipping by FedEx !After starting, the dryer is making excessive noise as the drum appears to be rubbing and struggling during its rotation. After a minute of working , there was a burning smell which could indicate a possible electircal/fire hazard!
