Original stovetop had to be replaced
The installation was straight forward. Unfortunately, the left front burner would not stay on. After initial start with the knob depressed, the burner would light. However, releasing the knob to move up caused the flame to go out. The right front burner only ignited a few times and then failed to start. The unit has thermocouples at each burner. This is a safety feature that shuts off the gas to that burner if the flame goes out for any reason. This is a good feature. I suspect that there were some electrical connection problems or thermocouple problems with these two burners. I called their tech support, but they never really gave me any solution. I finally called Amazon who offered to replace the unit. I was able to keep the original unit while they shipped the replacement. Three of the five burners were operational. The replacement came in about four days. The replacement worked just fine. I then returned the original stovetop. I love the design. The price is about one third of comparable stovetops. I would have given it 5 stars except for the original problems. I do not know what their quality control program is, but they should have tested each stovetop before shipment.

Materrial is first class
Just perfect. Looks nice, works great…Thermo couple feature is very important for us. It means when flame goes out it cuts the gas.I searched many fansy brands and only Gasland has thermo couple feature. Pay attention this safety feature!

Several problems
Just 3 out of five burners don’t work. In particular the center burner have bend the yellow device close to the igniter.I Email Gassland support and also talked to Jason. I reported on time the problems but Gasslandcustomer support sucks. No disrespect intended.

Love it!
Quick and easy install, love the setup. Tooknme about 15 minutes to install and been jsing it for pver a month and love this drop in top.I have a big family and the large center burner is a huge plus for us. Easy clean ups and works flawless.I highly recommend if you need a larger burner for certain dIshes.Perfect fit for my household. Took a couple days to get used to the heat settings from our old Frigidare but I loke this one a lot more.The negative review about the burned counter is clearly a user error.

The template in the box for my 30″ cooktop was for the 33″. It would have been convenient ff the smaller sizes were also printed for me to cut out. Potential disaster if you don’t notice.
