5 months and died …. lost all of our food
It worked fine and then it didnt. no warning ….. complete failure of cooling system. freezer and fridge are room temp.

Canât read display
The display above water dispenser is unreadable. I donât know why he didnât make some kind of backlight or illumination of the touchscreen but its totally guess work when trying to find the button for water or ice

GE is Terrible
Bought this GYE22GYNFS Fridge 1 month ago and had problems from day 1. First was a rattling noise because there is a dangling cord which was easy fix. Main problem is that it vibrates like crazy which i can hear at the opposite side of house in my closed door office.The place I bought it from sent a repairman and they couldnt fix so they said we needed to get GE Case opened so he had to come back out and get on phone with GE and they played them a recording and agreed it was loud and they were going to send someone out to replace condenser. So a week later when he came out he opened the back and sat on hold with his team and then when rep came on phone he said its fine and they werent going to do anything and left.I will be leaving reviews on every site I can and contacting Better Business Bureau so I can try and help unsuspecting customer get taken advantage of by GE.

Fits everything for a large family
The doors a little heavy to open but makes it kids safe so itâs necessarily a drawback for me. When we purchased it I did opt for the extended warranty after reading the other reviews but after having it for almost 3 years weâve never had to use it.

Only buy this refrigerator if you hate yourself.
Attractive design and a good overall size, but the construction is absolute junk.We got ours about 2 years ago and it started giving us trouble 13 months after we got it. (1 Month after the warranty expired)The Ice maker switches have been faulty since about day 15, to where you have to hold the button down that the door is closed in order to get the dispenser to put out ice. Figured it was more work to have it fixed via the warranty than what the convenience was worth (I was wrong).It constantly requires or is complaining about needing 50 dollar RPWFE water filters just so it can make ice.Condensation builds up on the items in the fridge, despite me checking and cleaning the seals about a half a dozen times.I do not recommend this refrigerator unless you hate yourself and would rather spend your time slamming your head in the (probably broken) refrigerator door.

GE Junk!
This refrigerator was delivered to me in January 2022 and it had a complete compressor failure in April 2022. The failure cost me $400 in groceries that GE will not cover. The parts to fix the compressor will not be in until June 2022 (if I’m lucky). GE is not escalating the fix and seem rather unbothered by the inconvenience this has caused. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from GE products. They’re just cheaply made junk that’s not worth your money or frustration.

Didn’t last 2 years
Buyer BEWARE… It started getting warm in fridge and freezer yesterday. Called for service and in a short time, checking it out, he said that the compressor was faulty, about a $2000 fix. The refrigerator is less than 2 years old and GE will not warranty anything unless it’s was a higher priced Profile Series. I guess $2700 wasn’t enough for it to last more than 2 years. Very disappointed and will never purchase another GE product.

Worst Refrigerator with even worse support from GE
I’ve had two of these in the last 5 years. The first one required 3 service visits to address various defrost issues. I finally had enough and replaced it with a newer GE Profile version which is also giving me problems. Never again!
