Runs all the time; Product description inaccurate
This review is for the HCK Stainless Steel Double Drawer Dual Zone Beverage and Wine Fridge. I like some things about this unit. In particular, for undercounter placement, the 2-drawer design is easier to use than a unit with door that swings left or right. The main reason I am not fully satisfied with the unit is because it runs all the time. Unlike other refrigerators and freezes, including a previous undercounter wine/beverage drawer fridge I owned, this unit never completely stops running. As a result, it emits noise all the time. Also, the product description on Amazon is wrong. The description says the unit will “hold up to 21 standard 750ml bottles of red wine.” That’s false–it holds up to 18 standard 750ml bottles. Also the product description says: “The refrigerator is equipped with detachable wheels, allowing you to switch the refrigerator to indoor or outdoor at any time.” That’s false–it does not come with wheels.

Good after modifications
The kegerator is now working well after a few modifications. I bought this with a coupon on Amazon so it was a good price, but after having to make some additional purchases to get beer flowing, the price turns out to be only OK. The refrigerator part of this kegerator works really well and the temperature controller is good. The exterior of the unit is nice and the unit arrived without any damage. The issues are: (1) the instructions are useless, (2) as another reviewer pointed out – the plastic shelf holders on the sides stick out too far to allow a Quarter Slim keg to fit as advertised , (3) the keg coupler that comes with the unit sticks up stick up to high making it challenging to install the 1/6 keg under the temp controller – I bought a low profile keg coupler that let me fit in the 1/6 keg without any issue (4) HCK provides you with a 2.5 pound CO2 tank – I could not find anyplace that would fill/exchange a 2.5 pound tank (too small “haven’t filled those for years”) – I had to buy a new 5 pound CO2 tank, luckily it fits in the kegerator with a 1/6 keg. So after some additional purchases and some modifications, I now have nice, cold flowing beer and will soon forget about the additional $200 or so I spent on additional replacement parts.

Great kegerator
This thing is a great kegerator.The box was roughed up a bit in shipping, but there was no damage to the unit itself after unboxing.Assembly was super simple, all that is involved is attaching the dispenser to the top, and plugging it in.It gets cold, and temperature is easy to adjust.Looks pretty great too!

Itâs noisy
As you can see your route, used a decimal meter to read the decimals of sound. Theyâre rating is much lower than what Iâm getting with a decibel meter.! otherwise, this is not a bad unit, but the noise is ridiculous!

Ive looked for a shorter fridge to fit into our 1920s home for ages. This one had more space than its competitors and looks beautiful. Its day one but the first impression is good. The color is a very light cream, i was worried it would be yellow. Its very subtle

I ordered this for use in my home. Assembly is required but with the simple and easy to follow instructions it only took about half an hour. A CO2 tank is required if you will be using a keg. This kegerator doesnât fit a full sized keg but easily accommodated a five gallon keg. The spout works great at dispensing beer and the fridge keeps the beer ice cold. Even with a keg and CO2 tank inside the fridge there is room to keep dozens of cans/bottles. This is a really great quality kegerator and I would definitely recommend it.
