My cat loves it
I bought these bulbs to replace one I had that finally quit working. Those were no longer available so I went with these from Mclanzoo – and yes they are for my cat. I have a table next to my chair where he likes to sit when he is not in my lap. Since I bought my new laptop…well, Walter gets less lap time than he prefers. So I bought a small lamp with a flexible head, got a heat lamp, put down a soft blanket and well…he loves it. The dude gets some serious snooze time under the lamp. I went with the 75W over the 100W which I had before because he was getting a little too warm…well IMO anyway, he might disagree. I also had to Velcro the lamp and block I used to support it to prevent him knocking it over which did happen once. Plus I do not leave it on when I am not home…just in case. I mean it does not get hot enough to start a fire I don’t think, but better safe than sorry.Anyway, he loves it as you can see and is very happy with my purchase. And I have a spare so he does not have to go a day without it. Obviously I can recommend it for a pet or a lizard that needs the warmth provided.

Great for new hatchlings
Kept my hatchlings nice and warm without the harsh white light I had been using. Would recommend this over a standard white light heat lamp.

Rachel bulb lasted about 6 months
I have been buying bulbs like these for years and years. The heat lamp bulbs never last for a long period of time. Noticed I bought this 2 pack on 9/5/23 and now today 8/30/24 the second bulb blew out.

Más allá de que los focos rojos no deben usarse en reptiles y los siguen promoviendo como adecuados, el foco no lo ocupe tanto tiempo encendido para llegar a las reseñas que mencionan que explotan, se rompió por un accidente pero pude notar que no es uniforme, tiene pequeños espacios que son imposibles de ver por fuera, menos si esta encendido. Eso aunado a que el foco es la mitad solo vidrio rojo (luz normal) y la mitad pegado a la rosca del soquet sà es recubierta en plata. No es un foco de calidad
