I ordered the LifeSmart 3 Sided Flame View Infrared Stove Heater, PCHT1109US and it arrived this morning in perfect condition. The set up was relatively easy, the only difficulties being stiff old fingers and dim old eyes trying to put the screws in place to attach the legs, but thatâs a âmeâ problem, not a âthemâ problem.Itâs been running for a few hours and is more than adequate to warm a small space (10x17ish) and in fact I turned it off because everything was so toasty. The top, back, and sides stayed cool to the touch. I still wonât put anything on top, but itâs nice to know.The room I put it in has a tiny defunct coal burning fireplace, aesthetically pleasing but useless. This smaller unit fits nicely just in front of the opening while still allowing good airflow around back. My house is older (1910) and has zero insulation, so this small sunroom is particularly chilly. This heater saves the day, and is really cute doing it!Remember, never use extension cords with space heaters, so make sure you have an outlet close by. Donât block the air intake by pushing it up against curtains, soft furniture, or anything fabric. The older style space heaters have higher rates of being hazardous and these new infrared are much safer, but itâs still important to treat them with respect. I am very pleased to have this option now and look forward to a long, snug winter!

New Flame Effects=Rolling Banana-Unrealistic. This new version heats only about 100 square feet on High setting. Fire Door no longer opens, handle points only at ground Unrealistic. ‘Improved’ plastic legs, needs special very long handle screw driver, not included. New Flame Effects eliminated most orange and all red colors, reminiscent of a rolling banana. As with the previous version, the Remote Control doesn’t function even with new batteries. Much louder fan. No On/Off switch only Standby using more energy. New ‘improved’ version costs $7 more. Save your money.

Adorable Heater that could!
It is compact and packs a punch. This thing heats our 150SF bedroom very quickly. I like that the “flames” can be turned off and that there is a timer feature. It is easy to use and I like that the buttons are covered behind a panel. It has plastic parts, but overall it feels sturdy.

It is make of plastic. Legs are snapped into place with no tools needed. It works fine it is just very slow to warn the room.

Best Heater Ever
I get cold easily so I was looking for a portable heater, and I came across this one ordered it and I loved it. I bought this back in Dec of 2016 and it still works great. I love the remote and how quickly it heats up my room. Mist definitely would order another one if I needed to
