This was a replacement for an infrared heater we purchased in 2012. It works just as great as the old one. The heat output seems to be perfect with the temperature controls. Itâs small in size so it doesnât take up much room. It has wheels so weight is not an issue if and when you need to move it. Itâs remote controlled so you can operate it from wherever you are in the room. I can only hope the lifespan of this unit is as great as my last one. This is an AMZING price for this unit.

UPDATE #2: It took almost three months to get a replacement fan. Cheap think plastic fan. NO INSTRUCTIONS. NO WAY TO TAKE THE BACK OFF THE UNIT TO INSTALL THE FAN!!!!! PIECE OF JUNK, AND OF COURSE, NO RETURNS SINCE I DIDN’T USE IT UNTIL THE WEATHER BECAME COLD, THEN HUGE DELAY IN GETTING THE PART THAT THEY THINK IS THE PROBLEM AS TO WHY THE HEATER SIMPLY QUIT WORKING. SLOW SLOW SLOW RESPONSE FROM THIS COMPANY. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!This heater works really well and puts out a good amount of heat. I like the eco mode as well as the ability to set the temp and a timer. I wanted a heater that was safe for my cat; the cabinet does not become hot, so if she climbs on it, she can’t be burned. So far so good. I highly recommend.UPDATE: after less than three months of use, the fan has begun rattling when this heater is turned on. It stops rattling after a few minutes, but is annoying and concerning that the fan is loose and will continue to loosen. I don’t dare try to open the unit to tighten the fan. There needs to be better quality control on any electronics that are made these days. Things used to function well for decades.

I bought this heater to heat my attic, which is approximately 350 square feet, and after a few months have noted the following:1) The initial metal smell: yep it smelled like metal initially. The instructions state that the smell is normal and goes away after a couple uses. That’s exactly what happened to me. It hasn’t smelled at all since my third use or so.2) heating ability: it works very well in my space. I find it takes a few minutes to get the room up to temperature, which is pretty good. People that are trying to heat multiple rooms with this product: you’re doing it wrong.3) remote control: a nice touch. works well for me and I’ve used it up to 20 feet away.4) temperature regulator: Set it and leave it – That’s what I’ve done and it works fine for me. It doesn’t shut off on its own or anything. Sweet added value feature: both metric and imperial temperature selections.5) Wood casing: Very classy touch. Every time I look at this infrared heater I think of a rustic cottage, plaid shirts, and chopping wood.Five stars.

Excellent heater. Works perfectly to heat my basement when entertaining. Low noise. Fast shipping too! Would have given it a 5 star but you have to adjust with the temperature settings as it heats up over time to maintain a comfort level you want. Not a big deal by any means.

Heated our sunroom with this attractive little heater in the deepest winter months in an unseasonably cold winter. Even heat distribution and easy to use the controls. I like the clear thermostat readout and used the eco setting almost all the time when it was on and it was warm enough without consuming excess energy.
