Factual Reviews –
Great personal portable dryer
I was a bit skeptical when I ordered this dryer and now I’m not, as it works. The instructions are printed in excruciatingly small print so you will need a magnifying glass or use your cellphone. The dryer cylinder has the bag that attaches to the dryer in the end opposite of the cord end. Turn the metal end with the raised center bar and remove it and the gray bag inside the end. Then connect the bag back on the metal piece and connect it back on the cylinder. Put the gray handle on the cylinder so you can hang the dryer up. You are ready to dry your wet clothes, shoes, dog or your hair in a pinch, but you’ll need to attach the hose for that. You’ll also find a long bag in the set that fits the dryer for drying or removing wrinkles in a dress or suit coat. 250W doesn’t sound like it would produce enough heat to dry clothes but it does. This small dryer is fantastic for traveling, boating where you have power,in a RV or in your home. This is a great product and value.

Plastic melted on low
Don’t buy, first use overseas melted the plastic. Says it can run on 220v but clearly it can’t.

Lap Swimmer Review
I live an apt. with a shared/paid dryer. So I typically will air dry my swim jammers that I use for lap swimming. This has helped me on the rainy days or when it’s absolutely freezing outside when I can’t air dry. This makes it easy to dry my swim jammers, but if you are trying to dry a single 2XL men’s shirt. That’s going to be a little too large for this guy. It dries my swim jammers, (for non-swimmers, imagine boxer shorts) just fine, and quick in fact. So overall meh, — it gets the job done to a degree, at least for my purposes.

Really nice, and a little hard to pack away
I donât go camping too often, but after getting this I canât wait to go again! :)Itâs pretty easy to set up once you work through how to change things out and it heats up really quickly.I can only imagine waking up on a cold morning and then throwing a set of fresh clothes in to warm them up. Or also after going for a swim and drying of whatever was being worn afterwards :)The only thing is that I feel like this is similar to like an air mattress where it doesnât fit too well back in the box after you take it out.I think thatâs a small thing though that doesnât deserve to have a star taken off.I think this is a great get for any camper. Just make sure you bring a power source to plug it into 🙂

It can be overheat and melt the product
It was working fine at first. I’d recommend not leaving it on without supervision. Mine ended up overheating and melting the plastic. It created a lot of smoke. Hotel employee thought we were smoking in the room.

I really wanted to like this dryer, but I’m a little disappointed with its performance
When I ordered this dryer I knew that it was portable, and for small amount of clothes. And those were the same reasons I ordered it. Because while traveling domestically, I like to travel light, taking the minimum amount of clothes with me, and often, I hand wash my socks, t-shirts and underwear. So, I’m used to using my portable hair dryer to dry these clothes. Therefore, when I got the opportunity to try this Prexon Portable Clothes Dryer, I got very excited. Sadly, I’m a little disappointed with its performance, I also feel a little concerned with it breaking apart, if I accidentally drop it, because the body of the dryer is simply flimsy. After wring out most of the water from the clothes, I’ve tried this dryer in a few ways, I can say that it’s okay for drying the same items I was drying with my hair dryer, but much slower. If one is in a hotel with lots of clean towels available, one way to fasten the drying of the clothes is to wrap them in a towel after wringing out the excessive water, and before to put it inside this dryer. There are included a few accessories that could make using this dryer adaptable to different circumstances. My favorite it’s the large extendable bag, which I can hang to dry my t-shirts in it.I like that it has two drying modes, and each mode runs at different wattages, the low drying mode uses 250 watts and the high drying mode uses 400 watts. The higher mode it’s the one that does a better job of drying the clothes, but it is also the loudest. So, what I do is that Istart with the high mode, and switch to the lower after a few minutes. I also like that it has an automatic shutdown mechanism that it would turn it off in case of overheating. In summary, I hesitated to give it four stars, but I did it, because I like the idea of this portable dryer, and the included accessories, and it’s an option to dry clothes on the go, or at home. And it works, but it takes time, and one should plan accordingly.

Works pretty well with garment bag. Noisy.
I got this to use to dry my clothes. It works okay. The clothes have to hang up. I use my shower rod. Then the garment bag goes over top and the heat tube pops into a hole on the bottom. It works just as well as the top mounted dryers of this style I’ve used.I will say, this unit is noisy. It sounds like a loud, old school, hairdryer running constantly. It does put out plenty of heat though and the air flow is good.It does take up less storage space than the top mounted units I have. And is lighter easier to travel with. It’s just is a little more fidgety to get set up to use.
