Nice heater
Size is small but fine for an apartment. If you want a larger size, you’ll pay over $100.Easy to use. I like the fire colors, which you can adjust if you like.Only thing I do not like is that once it warms up, the thermostat does not turn itself off, so I manually have to turn down the temp. Thus I removed a star.I have a large bedroom and it heats the entire hedroom, and into the hallway – makes my ‘central’ heat not run much or at all when I use it.Solid build. Good quality materials. There is no remote for the item I chose. Some DO have remotes.You assemble the legs on the main body of the heater. Easy assembly, altho I still need to take a screwdriver to fully drive screws on.Thus heater is off the floor. My cats stay away from it, altho they like watching the fake flames. I have no concerns with safety with this particular device (altho I would not leave it on if I was gone for any length of time).Definitely would recommend this product, and the brand whuch has various options to choose from.

Don’t give up on a setback.
This was the only one available and was listed as a return with a small discount. It was in perfect condition but was missing some of the screws to mount the legs and the position for one of the legs was interfered with by the metal housing of the heater. No holes lined up and just barely fit into the corner of the chassis. I did find two holes I could use and I drilled my own for the third. Of course, this means I can’t return. However, once put into operation, it heated our great room in 15 minutes. After 2 hours it Heated our whole house to 80 degrees and after adjusting the thermostat it turned on and off appropriately and accurately. It does look good, has a nice simulated fire and even has crackling noises, so all in all, it was worth it. 5 stars for functionality, 1 star for setup.

Cute, effective and sturdy.
4.5 starsThis arrived today and I immediately had to set it up. It was packaged well. The legs have to be screwed on. It has a sturdy three prong plug.Likes:The door opens and has a cute handle.The finish is AMAAAAAZING!The top, sides and back stay cool.It puts out heat! Our furnace has been struggling with some cold temps but this little guy has our 12×16 ft living room super toasty.The flame looks pretty dang realistic from a few feet away. The color is spot on.Thermostat control allows you to âset a temperatureâ basically meaning it wonât just stay on forever.Dislikes:The heater doesnât stay on continuously (both a pro and con really) â meaning if youâre sitting in front of it youâll be toasty one second and cool the next.The fan for the heat only has one settingâ meaning youâll be hot as you know what and then cold when it turns off. Only if you sit right in front of it. Otherwise the fan output is great because it pushes the heat out.Doesnât matter to me but the âfireplaceâ can be on without the heat but not the other way around. Also there was no remote control.Crackling sound is sort of goofy but if you close your eyes and imagine a cold breeze and the smell of fire itâs convincing enough ;)Overall I feel like this was a good purchase for us.

Love the look and lots of heat
Looks great and very sturdy, was worried it would look or feel cheap and certainly doesnt at all. Love having it running with just the fire place visuals when we are relaxing its very cozy. The audio sound option is nice but very gimmicky as it doesnt sound great.Heat output is really good, warms things nicely and im not worried about any hazards from it. Only real complaint is the dial for setting temperature has a very wide range of temp. I only use the first like 1/6 of it as I never see a need to have it go over 75 degrees really, so trying to dial in the right temp is annoying. As well since the dial is hard to read you basically have to get down on your knees to adjust it.

Powerful little heater – A trick to make the fire more realistic
I have a balcony where it is always cold and windy, but weâre not allowed to have a fire out there. I wanted to have the ambiance of a fire and I wanted adjustable heat. I bought this little heater based on reviews that it has great heat output for the size while being quiet and I totally agree. Itâs nice and warm when Iâm right in front of it, but there is also great heat spread indoors and it warms up a small room nicely. I did not notice an off-putting smell or sound.The thing is, I almost returned it as soon as I received it. The fake fire was a little cheesy. I am no stranger to fake fires and have owned other faux fireplaces and would say out of the box this one wasnât that realistic. There were just too many big flashes of red in it. In my opinion real fireplaces usually put out orangish light with just a few licks of red in the flames with the red mostly confined to the embers at the base of the fire.Simple fix was I unscrewed the bottom panel (before screwing the legs on) and simply partially covered the 2 red bulbs with black electrical tape (high heat resistant, fire retardant) and left the 3 orange bulbs alone. I didnât cover the entire red bulb, just the top in order to allow heat to dissipate and some red to show through. They are LED lights anyway they shouldnât get very hot to begin with. This made the fire look SO much more realistic. Before screwing the bottom panel back on, I recommend turning only the light switch on just to check that you like the effect first bcs itâs a lot of screws to take in and out. If you are thinking of altering it this way then obviously you canât change your mind later and return it.Iâm very happy with this purchase and glad I didnât send it back. It really packs a punch for its size, super easy to move anywhere the only downside is no remote, but for such a small heater I didnât expect one anyway.

Calienta bastante rápido una habitación de 9m2, el efecto de flama se ve bastante agradable y aunque es un poco más pequeña de lo que esperaba, funciona bastante bien. El recibo de la luz no se incremento demasiado en la temporada en que la utilicé, aunque se botó la pastilla al tenerla prendida junto con la lavadora, el microondas y otros electrodomésticos pequeños, dejando entrever qué si tiene un consumo bastante alto de energÃa. Muy buen producto, quedé satisfecha.

Nice compact electric fireplace unit for smaller spaces like bedrooms – and personally, looks nicer than ordinary heaters. 4 stars because I wish it had a digital setup for temperature control and timer – instead, just has two switches (one to toggle heat, other for the flame display) and a thermostat knob to dial in the heat. Good value for the price, good for winter mornings!
