Pros: well made, infrared light, sturdy, comforting.Cons: heavy, not as comfortable as a light weight heating pad. Not soft.I like this product & will use it for my body like legs back and arms. If you are like me and live with a heating pad for a couple hours at night I would buy a flimsy soft heating pad for the back as this isnât comfortable for long periods of time. I bought another infrared light heating pad for my back and I use this on other parts of the body at the same time. I do appreciate the concept and the fact that this is made very well.

Pain, Stiffness, Soreness Relief
I consider purchasing the UTK Infrared Heating Tourmaline Therapy mat as an investment in my health. Turns out, it was a wise decision. The infrared heat is deep penetrating. Reportedly 2.33 inches versus the typical electric heating pad’s 0.25 inch depth. I set the digital controller at 118 degrees, the reported FDA approved temperature for best healing. I have been using mine for a year now. I also use the photon red lights because of all the healing research on red light therapy. I have not had to have either the neck surgery or the lumbar surgery. No hospitalization, no months of recovery, and no costly bills. Yes, my purchase of the UTK was a wise decision. I am looking forward to many more years of relief. By the way, I simply place the UTK flat with the back of my recline, lean back and smile, enjoying the deep healing warmth. I have now made the decision based on the value of this UTK product to purchase their neck and shoulder infrared heating unit. I will now designate the mat just for my back while enjoying the other which is designed for the neck and shoulders. Pure bliss. Too clumsy, not Hot enough
Those is Not the heating pad for me.It is cumbersome and uncomfortable.I need a pad that I can feel the heat. I could Not feel the 150° temperature it was said to release. I do not understand protons et cetera I just could not feel high Heat

Itâs ok
I had the previous version of this with the stones for many years and decided it was time for an upgrade. Itâs much more comfortable to lay on than the stone one but it doesnât get nearly as hot which is disappointing. Itâs nice to warm you up and sooth something but itâs the super heat I like for when my back is sore.

Glad I took a chance
Iâve owned more heating pads than I can count. I saw this with a significant discount and figured I would give it a try since works a bit differently than other with the faux leather and beads (which can absorb aromatherapy oils!). It is the best heating pad Iâve ever owned and well worth the full price. It is used pretty much every day by someone in the household. Itâs incredibly well made. Yes, it takes longer than a standard pad to heat up, but the beads hold the heat longer and evenly distributes its (no hot spots). The controller is a little clunky, but arenât they all? Very satisfied with this purchase!

Great heat to relieve pain
I bought this to help my fiancé with some lower back pain. She works from home and has been using a standard heating pad while sitting at her desk. The pad was always slipping on the seat. This belt helps secure the heat to her area of pain. The heat control is phenomenal and targets the area she needs. The only thing that could make this item better would be to have a magnetic or some other type of quick disconnect for improved mobility. As is, itâs deserving of its 5 star rating.

Large Area Heating
This arrived just yesterday and I immediately plugged it in to give it a go. This is the largest heating pad I’ve ever owned and just from last night’s experience, I know It’s worth it. No more wiggling around to get the heat where I need it. It was a gradual heating and it felt like it was radiating exactly where I needed it.
