Not a typical heating pad
This is a weighted heating pad. The heft comes from the several pounds of tourmaline beads inside the pad. The claim is this emits far infrared that penetrates deep into muscles. I have no idea if that actually happens but it makes my sore muscles and joints feel very good. What I can say is this heats well, gets very warm on high. The cover is soft and very comfortable. So high marks for heat comfort and conforms to your body. Far infrared? canât say one way or the other but it does make my aching back and knees feel pretty good. A high quality product tha delivers pain relief.Customer service is excellent with Vivian patiently answering all my questions. She is knowledgeable and empathetic.

Really soft, great size/weight
This heating pad is really well made. The material is very soft. It’s easy to use with a controller on the cord that has 6 heat settings and an automatic shut off. It’s like a mini weighted blanket with heat. The weight is really nice when I use it at night on the couch before bed and it feels great on my achey back.

Even when you put it on L ⦠lowest setting, you have to keep turning it off as it gets way too hot to tolerate. I wish I would have checked this out before the return date expired.
