Takes the chill off but not strong for outside
This was an easy setup and I bought it to use in a patio area. There are 9 levels of heating and itâs supposed to warm up the area and anyone sitting within a 100 degree angle.I have to set it to the max level to get to a comfortable level of warmth in 40F weather in Florida and close the screen windows to keep the heat in. So Iâm not sure how effective it is in an open area unless youâre right next to it.We do love it because it definitely takes the chill off when sitting next to it.Itâs turned out to be a great investment for our patio that we use a lot.

Very powerful outdoor heater!
I live in the south, but even we had a coldish winner this year. I like to read on my balcony every afternoon. This year it was pretty chilly, and I was wrapped up in sweatshirts and blankets. But it was still too cold. So I broke down and purchased this outdoor heater. It was perfect for my needs. It really throws a lot of heat. I didnât even have it up to its highest level. The timer is a fantastic feature And I liked that it turns itself off if you pick it up or it moves because of the safety mechanism on the base of the heater. This is so in case it falls over it doesnât stay on and cause of fire. My only negative is that the cord could be a little bit longer. The distance between my outlet and where I sit to read was a little bit longer than this cord could manage. I still was able to get enough heat from the position where it was at. The manufacturer tells you not to use an extension cord and you should not. But of course I had to try and it turned itself off. I guess thatâs a safety feature so you donât cause a fire. Brilliant! Anyway, overall this is a great purchase I would purchase it again in a heartbeat .

DO NOT BUY: faulty wiring due to a short confirmed by electrician
I purchased this item in order to warm an enclosed patio. Out of the box, it was fine, looks nice, seemed kind of flimsy and cheap, but I donât really care about that. Noticed the remote didnât work. Tried new batteries, still wouldnât work. I didnât really care about that. Turned it on to try it out, left it on while I was working on something, noticed it randomly turn off. I thought maybe it was a safety feature, turned it back on, shut off again pretty quickly this time. I tried plugging it in somewhere else, same thing. I left it off for the night, tried it again the next day, it turned off and didnât turn back on. It had been making a weird noise prior that I didnât know if it was normal. I investigated further, noticed that the breaker tripped. There was only other low wattage lamp attached to this circuit which is on a 20 amp breaker which should handle 2400 watts. Max output of this heater is 1500. The lamp was less than 100 watts. I tried it on another 20 amp circuit. It stayed on for a bit, then went off again. I thought maybe I had an electrical issue, called a licensed electrician, he came out, tested everything, my electrical is great, he stated that the issue was with the heater, not anything with my house. My house is newer. Itâs not an old house. He determined that the heater was likely overloading the circuit due to faulty wiring. He said that it was a short, to not plug it in anymore, it could be a fire hazard due to a short. That cost me a chunk of money and a lot of timeâ¦.I bought this in october. Havenât had much need for it. Determined the problem was a short in December. I contact Amazon and they were amazing. They told me itâs outside of a 30 day window so I would have to contact the seller. Which I did, told them about the faulty product, potential fire hazard, that I spent time and money on a licensed electrician, they told that it wasnât there product, that it was my wiring and my house. Even though I paid hundreds of dollars to have an electrician tell me my wiring is perfect, the product is faulty. I just wanted another unit, they told me to kick rocks. So now Iâm out 150 dollars plus the hundreds from the electrician. Not to mention the potential for a house fire that could have happened because this seller doesnât believe in quality control or customer service. Spend your money on a different unit. There may only be 1 short circuiting heater per 100 produced but it only takes 1 to cause a house a fire. Be careful and learn from my mistake. Donât purchase products from this seller. Customer service and product quality and quality control are non-existent.Update: so I tried to continue a conversation with the seller and they continued to gaslight me rather than help me. They told me to plug the product back in, even though I told them the electrician said it had a short aka knew dangerous, put it on the lowest setting, and guess what? Sparks and a loud pop. Now the product wonât even work and could have caused a fire. They donât care. And I canât even get things to work on the electrical circuit anymore even after resetting the breaker. Please spend your money elsewhere.

Definitely keeps a nice area toasty. Would recommend. My stand broke but I made it work lol. We used it for the outdoor patio so if it kept us toasty outside, Iâm sure itâll heat a big space easy

Instant beautiful heat. We use it in our 3 car garage for our catâs comfort in cold weather.Very enjoyable to sit by when I pet my cats.

Instructions are not very clear.
Seems to heat up fast. Instructions doesn’t explain all the functions for the heater. I’m sorry I didn’t choose a heater that swivels.

It generates lots of heat and looks very modern in our renovated bathroom. We got it to help us feel warm while towelling off after a shower. It heats up almost instantly, is easy to use and looks great too. Zero problems assembling it and using it. It does a 30 second countdown while it cools off when shut off. The touch controls on top are a little hard to see but on/off switch location is obvious. The remote works well but in this application we leave it in its holder on the top of the heater.
