When placed in a closed, new 40×50 insulated metal barn at 44° if I got more than 4â away I couldnât feel it. Maybe in a small area it would be better.

be very very very careful
This thing’s housing gets ferociously hot! there 3 settings medium seems risky low might be safe? High strikes fear in my heart. ON high it would burn skin in 2 seconds or less (again the outside housing), on medium not a whole lot longer. This is the housing I’m talking about. Keep children pets elderly (infirm) away!!!!!! there is a mfg warning about HYPER thermia. Hyperthermia is at a minimum heat exhaustion and at worst heat stroke. Anything with a hyperthermic warning should be treated with extreme caution. Nomenclature states it will shut off at 300 degrees(farenheight?). But we know water boils at 212 degrees (F) and we are 60-70 % water. It also will shutoff after 24 hours or…… it gets knocked over. Keep animals and children away. Its job is heater and man it works!
A holiday queen with a nerdy family –
So warm
We used this at Halloween while handing out candy. It was only 25 degrees that night but you wouldnt have been able to tell that from us. Our whole group stayed very warm and toasty all night. Even the trick or treaters and their parents stayed a bit to warm up before going on to the next house. We were the most popular house on the block. This heater is a must have if your looking to stay warm.

Hot but not far
We tried this out once. It was an outdoor party forecasted at 60 degrees that turned suddenly to 47 instead. We got this out and put it on high, but it only warmed whoever was in front of it. The heat doesn’t throw, it just comes out about 12 inches and disappears.

Works great, terrible instructions
Great for working on projects in the garage or outdoors. Puts off a good amount of heat and is controllable with a remote. Came with batteries for remote. Easy to assemble with common knowledge seeing that the instructions are worthless as far as assembly goes. Comes with tool for assembly, but will need a Phillips head screwdriver for completion. Telescopic stand is very supportive and easy to adjust. Heat can be directed 360 degrees and height adjusted with ease while plugged in. Has a pin for holding height adjustment and a spin know. Only 3 star rating because heat element has already blown after 4hrs of use…

Infrared heater
This is a nice simple heater. Well packaged, in 2 boxes, one for the heater and one for the tripod. 3 temperature setting, low, medium and high. There is also a timer. At its high temperature setting, I can feel the heat sitting 15-20 feet away. Come with a remote control that use 2 AAA batteries, not included. You can control with the remote or with the panel on the heater.You can mount it on the wall or on the tripo, comes with hardware to do so.There’s also a metal safety rail guard, in case it fall over face down, even though there’s a safety feature that will shut down the heater if it gets tip over, this rail will keeps the hot part of the heater from directly contact to your floor, burning it.

Patio Heater
Wow! This thing produces instant heat. The second you turn this heater on it starts to work and was able to easily heat our small outdoor patio area in no-time. We actually had to turn it down to a lower level because the heat got so intense. Once we mount it to the wall we will probably go slightly higher than the tripod currently allows which will cover a broader area and more evenly disperse the heat. This heater has already extended our outdoor living season and will continue to do so late into the fall. The build seems a little light, but that shouldn’t be an issue especially once it’s mounted to the wall.
